Ronald A. Zisman, born in Lima, Peru, is a U.S./Canadian dual citizen. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1980 and U.S. Federal Bar in 1982. He is also Licensed as a Practitioner of Foreign Law in B.C. Canada.
He has extensive experience in Business Immigration including Treaty Investor and Trader Visas, Expatriation and TN NAFTA petitions. He is fluent in Spanish and French. Mr. Zisman is a Mentor with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) of which he has been a member for over 30 years.
Mr. Zisman is also a former member of the AILA National Border Committee and Vice Chair Consular and Border Committees for AILA Washington.
Mr. Zisman relocated to Vancouver B.C., Canada in 1989. He practices U.S. immigration and nationality law with his law firm Ronald A. Zisman, U.S. Immigration Lawyers in Vancouver, B.C. and Everett, Washington. He earned a B.A. degree from The University of California, Los Angeles and a J.D. degree from McGeorge School of Law, UOP.
He has lectured frequently in the area of U.S. Immigration Law including expatriation. He has conducted seminars and courses for: Financial Advisors Association of Canada, Simon Fraser University; Chartered Accountants of British Columbia; American Immigration Lawyers Association (CLE); British Columbia Institute for Studies in International Trade; Pacific Business & Law Institute; Vancouver Film School, Financial Advisors Association of Canada and other business and educational organizations.
